ABOUT
Upware Marina is ideally positioned in the Cambridgeshire Fens, for access to the unspoiled waterways of this unique landscape. The University city of Cambridge lies only twelve miles by road and around two and a half hours by river. The beautiful and historic riverside city of Ely, is even closer, being approximately one hour by river and only a few minutes by road. Yet another internationally famous town, Newmarket, known worldwide for it horse racing and breeding, is only twenty minutes drive away.
Upware Marina lies alongside protected wetland and wildlife areas, with Wicken Fen and its windmill within walking distance. The Fens is still an area where boating can be enjoyed in tranquility, but retaining water access to the Middle Levels with the Nene, and canal systems beyond. Upware village and marina is easily accessed by road, from the A10, with connection to the M11, A14 and A1.

We have a range of boats available through our brokerage service, both here in our marina and in association with other vendors. Please visit this site regularly, for updates on current boats for sale.
We are also able to offer assistance with financial arrangements and with insurance of your new vessel.

Moorings
Over night moorings £25.00
Moorings for berth holder boats of all types up to 65ft. £42-£45 per ft per annum + VAT (subject to availability)
Repairs & Maintenance
Our technicians can handle any installation, maintenance or repair for any type of of boat.
Parking
Secure on site parking available. Large vans or work vehicles by prior arrangement only.
Craneage
If you need to crane your boat in, or out of the water, we can lift up to 100 tons and offer out of water storage.
Laundrette
Self -service washing machine and tumble drying is available on site.
Water & Electric
Fresh water and metered mains electricity is available on site.
Painting & Blacking
Professional hull blacking and painting services to keep your boat looking shipshape.
Shower & Toilets
Toilet and shower block open 24/7 for berth holders use.
Elsan
Chemical cassette toilets can be emptied on site, and both Ely and Cambridge have pump out facilities.

Next to the Marina is a modern family-friendly pub-restaurant with a large riverside garden, serving traditional, well priced meals and a selection of real Ales and craft Ciders.
Wicken Fen
Wicken Fen is a 254.5 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is also a National Nature Reserve, and a Nature Conservation Review site
Ely
The historic Fenland city of Ely is home to one of the most important cathedrals in England, it is the perfect base for a weekend break to explore the area.
Ely Leisure Village
Located on the A10 at Downham Road, comprising a new swimming pool, Cineworld, Frankie & Benny’s, Isle of Ely, Arbuckles , McDonalds, KFC, Costa, Chosen Bun and a Pizza Hut, with apply free parking.
Spinney Abbey
Spinney Abbey Farm at Wicken, near Ely, home to the Fuller family since 1892. The farm shop sells meat from their traditional slow grown cattle and own brew craft Ciders, including Monk & Disorderly.
